As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you’ll work in an agile product team that owns and operates its own infrastructure on GCP. You’ll build scalable systems using Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps tools like Flux and Flagger — all in a cloud-native, collaborative, and impact-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and evolve team-owned infrastructure on GCP
• Implement and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and centrally managed modules
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines via GitLab CI/CD
• Administer Kubernetes resources (deployments, RBAC, networking, policies, upgrades)
• Manage Helm releases and integrate core platform components (logging, secrets, IAM, VPC, DNS)
• Apply secure defaults across IAM, secrets, TLS, and network policies
• Support day-to-day operations: incident response, infrastructure maintenance, performance analysis
• Collaborate with the centralized platform team to align on shared modules and policies

Must-Haves

• 3–5+ years in DevOps or cloud engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP (GKE, Cloud Run, IAM, VPC, DNS, Load Balancing, Secret Manager)
• Proficiency in Terraform and GitLab CI/CD
• Solid Kubernetes knowledge (networking, ingress, RBAC, operators, storage)
• Scripting skills (Shell, Bash; Golang is a bonus)
• Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog, GCP Monitoring/Logging)
• Fluent English (German is a plus)
