For our business partner, one of the largest integrators of IT and physical security solutions for national and European critical infrastructure, we are looking for a PL/SQL Developer to join their on-site team.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing scripts and PL/SQL packages that power our core applications. A strong understanding of Oracle environments is essential, and a good working knowledge of Oracle APEX is a must. Your technical expertise will directly contribute to improving the functionality and efficiency of our database solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages.
  • Collaborate with other developers and project managers to understand business requirements and translate them into database solutions.
  • Lead thorough testing and debugging of PL/SQL scripts to ensure robust applications.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance through efficient schema design and indexing strategies.
  • Assists in database design and suggests improvements to existing databases.
  • Provides support and maintenance for existing applications
  • Document changes made under internal standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a PL/SQL Developer;
  • Proven ability to write efficient and complex database queries and scripts
  • Experience with Oracle database technologies and tools
  • Knowledge of Oracle APEX is highly desired
  • Critical and analytical thinking
  • Focus on finding solutions and achieving the established result
  • Team player with good verbal and written communication skills
